Need a taxi during King’s Day?

King’s Day promises to be another fun, but also quite busy and chaotic day in Amsterdam and at our dispatch center. To manage the crowds, the municipality has closed large parts of Amsterdam’s city center to car traffic on Sunday, April 27, between 07:00 and 21:00. This means that on this day, it will only be possible to order a taxi at specific locations.

Just a quick summary:

  • On the map you can see where the taxi stands are located outside that area.
  • The stands are divided between pick-up points and pre-booked taxis.
  • Despite our dispatch center being fully staffed, we unfortunately expect longer waiting times.
  • We are doing our best to assist you as quickly as possible.
  • We recommend that everyone use our app.
