High demand due to public transport strike

Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing exceptionally high demand for taxis due to today’s public transport strike. Would you like to book or reserve a taxi for today? This is only possible by calling our dispatch centre on 020 – 777 7777 (7×7). You can still request a taxi, but we are currently unable to guarantee when one will become available. Due to the current situation, all journeys are charged according to the taxi meter. Fixed fares are temporarily unavailable. We are doing everything we can to transport everyone as quickly as possible!

Celebrate WorldPride Amsterdam 2026 with TCA Taxi

Order your taxi on time

To manage the crowds, the municipality has closed large parts of Amsterdam’s city center to car traffic. This means that on this day, it is only possible to order a taxi at specific locations.

Therefore, order your taxi on time and, in consultation with the driver, choose an easily accessible pick-up or drop-off location away from the busiest times. Also, allow for extra travel time. Our experienced drivers know Amsterdam like no other and will take you as close to your destination as possible.

No surprises

All rides ordered with TCA are metered. This way, you won’t face any surprises, even when the city is busy. Do you want to know approximately how much your ride will cost beforehand? Simply check the price indication in the TCA app.

Available 24/7

TCA is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Book your taxi easily via our website or the TCA app. In the app, you can order a taxi directly or in advance, track your driver, and view an indication of the fare.

Everyone is welcome. Hop on board. Celebrate Pride with TCA!
